Hawk Adds Vice President of Operations to Team

Hawk is is pleased to welcome Chris Maupin, Vice President of Operations, to the team. 

August 19, 2025 – Wheeling, IL – Hawk Research Laboratories, LLC (Hawk), a manufacturer of high-performance coatings and adhesives used in the resurfacing, repair, fabrication, and restoration markets, is pleased to welcome Chris Maupin, Vice President of Operations, to the team.

Mr. Maupin brings over 25 years of leadership in manufacturing, operations, and engineering with extensive expertise in the coatings, adhesives, and specialty chemicals industries. His career includes key leadership roles at PPG and Essential Industries, where he directed multi-million dollar capital projects in coatings production, drove large scale process improvements, implemented advanced manufacturing technologies, and guided organizations through significant supply chain challenges.

In his role as Vice President of Operations, Mr. Maupin will oversee Hawk’s manufacturing strategy, capital planning, and process optimization initiatives. He will lead efforts to enhance production efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen operational capabilities to meet growing customer demand while supporting Hawk’s long-term growth objectives.
