STONETUFF MOISTURESHIELD™ BASECOAT
When moisture is an issue, a moisture vapor barrier is required. StoneTuff MoistureShield epoxy basecoat can be substituted for either the StoneTuff Epoxy or StoneTuff Polyaspartic basecoats to control moisture vapor transmission of up to 25 pounds per 1,000 square feet per 24 hours. This low odor, zero VOC thick moisture vapor barrier protects new or existing concrete slabs against the harmful effects of moisture and pH issues. StoneTuff MoistureShield is intended for use in combination with the StoneTuff Epoxy and StoneTuff Polyaspartic Topcoat Systems without adding time to the curing process. After topcoat application, the system allows for light foot traffic in as little as 2 hours and vehicular traffic in 24 hours.*
